Keyword Research
By: Jennie Crawford

If you are an affiliate marketer and you don?t have the best keywords, you will not be successful. Keywords are what can make or break you in this business. The reason is simple. If you do not have the best keywords, no one will find your website. And if nobody can find your website-you won?t make any sales.

There are so many different ways to utilize effective keywords. You can use them in pay per click advertising. If you create super targeted ads using laser focused keywords, you will get clicks and you will make sales. They do not even have to be the most common keywords to make income.

Another way keywords are important is in article marketing. You need to have your chosen keywords in the article several times in order for your article to show up in search engines. The correct keyword density is very important. Not enough of your keywords and your article may be over looked. Mention it too many times and the search engines will think you are spamming an will ignore it. So picking the right keywords to use in your articles is very important as well as the amount of time you use them. You should try to always to use your keyword in the title as well.

Keywords are also important if you have a website. You want search engines to find your website, so keyword optimizing your pages is very important. This way your pages will pop up in search engine results. If you don?t do this, it will be much harder if not impossible to show up in search engine results.

Finding all the possible keywords relating to your product or subject can make the difference in whether or not your efforts are successful. You can have the greatest product in the world, but if you don?t use the correct keywords for people to find it, you will not get the traffic you need in order to be successful. You need to put yourself in the position of who ever is searching for your product and ask yourself what you would use a s search term if you were looking for that product. Then expand as much as you can on that list. The more keywords you compile, the more successful you can be.

I believe that keywords are the most important factor in affiliate marketing on the internet. They can make or break you. Learning how to use them effectively is one of the most important skills you can develop as an affiliate marketer. Good keywords can lead you towards those $300 days you read so much about.
